Summer Music Lessons
Developing musical skills enhances a child's overall scholarly performance and the impact to their confidence can be simply amazing. This summer, kick academic regression to the side and sign your child up for 6 weeks of music lessons with instructor Corey Wells!
Piano
Beginner Course
For kids ages 8-11
3pm on Tuesdays
June 2 - July 7, 2026
$199/student*
Your child will learn correct posture and hand positioning, how to read music, keeping rhythm and time, the difference between harmony and melody, playing their own notes and chords, and much more.
Your child will perform three full songs they've learned in a musical showcase at the end - Songs include Claire De Lune and Amazing Grace.
Only 8 seats will be available to ensure quality and custom instruction for each student. Classes are 45 minutes.
Students are encouraged to bring their own portable keyboards to class for use. If they do not own a portable keyboard, one will be provided for use during class.
The showcase performance will take place on July 7th at 6pm at The Clubhouse in Holly Hill. Each registered student will receive two tickets to assign to their family members.

Percussion
Foundations in Rhythm
For kids ages 8-11

June 2 - July 7, 2026

Your child will learn foundational percussion techniques that will focus on coordination. Key skills include holding sticks properly, hitting different parts of the bucket (center, edge, side) for varied sounds, keeping a steady beat, and playing basic rhythmic patterns, often along with music.
Your child will perform three full songs they've learned in a musical showcase at the end - Songs include Claire De Lune and Amazing Grace.
Limited seats will be available to ensure quality and custom instruction for each student. Classes are 45 minutes.
Students will use 5-gallon bucket drums and will be assigned percussion sticks for use. They will be encouraged to practice at home during the week.
The showcase performance will take place on July 7th at 6pm at The Clubhouse in Holly Hill. Each registered student will receive two tickets to assign to their family members.

Discovery & Application

Your child will learn breathe control, keeping rhythm and time, the 4 different vocal parts, how to read sheet music, the difference between harmony and melody, and much more.
Your child will perform three full songs they've learned in a musical showcase at the end - Songs include Seasons of Love, Amazing Grace, and Wade in the Water.
Limited seats will be available to ensure quality and custom instruction for each student. Classes are 45 minutes.
This class is a “choral group,” so students will understand the critical nature of teamwork in assembling music.
The showcase performance will take place on July 7th at 6pm at The Clubhouse in Holly Hill. Each registered student will receive two tickets to assign to their family members.
