Swim Lessons
& Water Safety Classes
The Clubhouse partners with swim academies and insured instructors to accommodate for members to select a lesson schedule that works for them.
Swim lessons and water safety classes are generally offered in group format, so participants get the benefit of meeting other families and learning together. There are some opportunities to book private lessons as well.
Membership to The Clubhouse is not required to gain access to swimming lessons. However, there are deep discounts for those who do have a membership; members will also be able to access extended swim times (not including regular pool hours), and pool activities like poolside story time, water recess, teen float club, and more!
Gullah Swim Academy
Gullah Swim Academy wants you and your family to learn to swim. They will help you overcome past experiences, build a relationship with the water, and decrease the staggering statistics of drowning in minority populations. This summer we are excited to have them coming all the way up from the Charleston area to serve our community at The Clubhouse.
Instructors from Gullah Swim Academy will host lessons at The Clubhouse for members during these dates for Summer 2026 (TENTATIVE SCHEDULE & PRICES):
Session 1: Mondays June 1, 8, 15, 22
Preschool Class times - 9am, 9:30am, 10am
Elementary Class times - 10:30am, 11:15am
Private Lessons - 12pm-5pm
Adult/Teen Beginners - 5pm, 5:45pm
Session 2: Mondays July 6, 13, 20, 27
Preschool Class times - 9am, 9:30am, 10am
Elementary Class times - 10:30am, 11:15am
Private Lessons - 12pm-5pm
Adult/Teen Beginners - 5pm, 5:45pm
A full session of lessons will be 4 classes over 4 weeks with 30-45 minutes of instruction at each class. The classes will be given for learners at both beginner and intermediate levels. The cost is $179/swimmer (50% off for Clubhouse members) for each session, and you may register for one session or both. Private lessons will be offered at $199/swimmer (30% off for Clubhouse members)
Discounts for Clubhouse members are applied at the time of registration for swimming lessons and cannot be requested retroactively. Members must request their discount code in advance, in order to use it during the registration process.
